This is an oft-overlooked highlight of the fantastic Woodstock documentary. Alvin Lee gives a mellow introduction, complete with some guitar-tuning, and then rips immediately into some very fast blues. Over the course of 11 minutes, the band goes through multiple solos, a few very ridiculous facial expressions, and about every blues/rock song you can think of from the ’50s, all at breakneck speed. The cinematography, as with pretty much all of the documentary, is great throughout as well. My favorite part is when Lee does a solo purely by fucking with the neck of the guitar (25 years before Tom Morello became known). Prepare to jump around for the next 11 minutes straight.
