Manu Chao – Clandestino

This has been one of my favorite songs since I was about 8. Manu Chao is somewhat of a legend in Spanish music. Starting with the band Mano Negra in the 1980s, and moving on to a distinguished solo career, he blends many languages and styles of music in his work. “Clandestino,” the title track to his 1994 album, is a sort of latin reggae song with strong lyrics about racism in Spain, Barcelona especially, which should be evident from the video. Great song.
